Auto Immune Conditions
+ Exercise

You may be wondering why I have a page specifically for autoimmune conditions.  Great question!  The truth is, I've had my own struggles with the "crash and burn" in my journey as an athlete and my professional career.  I wasn't sure where to go for help, especially with the proper exercise prescription. Here's my story and why I want to help!

When I was 21 years old, I had a health scare/autoimmune diagnosis (ME/CFS) that changed the trajectory of my life.

I had to drop out of college (and basketball) my senior year.  After several weeks in the hospital and several months at home in bed,  I thought my life would be like this forever.  I slowly gave up all my dreams of traveling, going to PT school, and coming to grips with NOT being active due to my extreme fatigue.

I was afraid of working out because I wasn't sure how much I could do without increasing my pain and fatigue.   I had brain fog, had no interest in social activities, and spent months trying to find myself.  If I couldn't be social and active, who was I?

I didn't know where to start, what to do for workouts, or how to regain my energy and life!

I felt lost, confused, scared, and mostly frustrated with the lack of healthcare professionals willing to help.

After consulting with an ND (shout out to Dr. Chris Valley in Spokane, WA), I learned that I could improve my condition by adjusting my diet and the intensity of my workouts.  There was hope!

Because I have 'returned to life' several times and learned how to manage my stress to avoid the crash, I wanted to help others going through the same issues.  Two years ago, I found coaching and realized it is the perfect mix of my education and my desire to treat the whole body with the 'right' amount of exercise.

With coaching, personal training, and physical therapy, my focus now is to help guide and coach those who are going through similar stories.

Over the last two years, I have experience helping clients find the right exercise program so they can return to everyday living!  I've helped people with Fibromyalgia, POTS, EDS, OA, RA, PMR, ME/CFS, Osteoporosis, A-fib, and more.

As we know, there is no ONE WAY to find your energy again, but we can work together to find ways to get you moving again (without the crash and burn). More than anything, I want you to know there is a way out of the fog—there is hope! You are NOT crazy! I've been where you are and know there are ways to improve your life!
